Here's a recipe for Pomfret Fish Fry

Ingredients:
2 medium Pomfret fish, cleaned and washed
1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon of red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
Add salt to taste
1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
Oil for frying

Instructions:
Make deep cuts on both sides of the fish and rub them with ginger-garlic paste, red chilli, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt. 

Marinate for at least 30 minutes. Mix gram flour with salt and water in a bowl to make a thick paste. 

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadhai. Dip the marinated fish in the batter and cover well. Carefully place the fish in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides. 

Remove from oil and place on a paper towel covered plate to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with lemon wedges and green chutney. Pomfret Fish Fry is ready to serve. It is!
