In this blog post, we present a delicious chicken lollipop recipe that will leave your friends and family craving for more.

Ingredients:

500 grams chicken wings
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon red chili sauce
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
Oil for deep frying
Spring onion greens, finely chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken:
a. Start by cleaning the chicken wings thoroughly and pat them dry using paper towels.
b. Hold the chicken wing and carefully push the flesh down towards the base to form a lollipop shape. Remove any excess skin or fat.

Marinate the Chicken:
a. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, tomato ketchup, ginger-garlic paste, red chili sauce, vinegar, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
b. Add the chicken lollipops to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.

Prepare the Batter:
a. In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and all-purpose flour.
b. Gradually add the beaten egg while whisking the mixture to form a smooth batter. Adjust the consistency by adding a little water if needed. The batter should be thick enough to coat the chicken lollipops.

Deep-Fry the Chicken Lollipops:
a. Heat oil in a deep pan or wok over medium heat.
b. Dip each marinated chicken lollipop into the batter, ensuring it is evenly coated.
c. Gently place the coated chicken lollipop into the hot oil. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
d. Fry the chicken lollipops for about 6-8 minutes or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
e. Remove the fried chicken lollipops using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Serve and Garnish:
a. Arrange the chicken lollipops on a serving platter.
b. Garnish with finely chopped spring onion greens for a fresh and vibrant touch.
c. Serve hot with a side of chili sauce, tomato ketchup, or any dip of your choice.

OTG vs Microwave vs Air Fryer: Which One Is Actually Worth Buying First?

It is one of the most genuinely difficult kitchen appliance decisions an Indian household faces. You have space for one — maybe two — countertop cooking appliances beyond your stovetop and pressure cooker, and the market offers three competing options that each promise to transform your cooking in different ways. The OTG bakes and grills. The microwave reheats and cooks quickly. The air fryer crisps and fries with less oil. Each one has passionate advocates who cannot imagine cooking without it. Each one has disappointed buyers who barely use it six months after purchase.

Pickle and Papad Business From Home: Investment, Profit and Where to Sell in India

Every Indian household has at least one person whose pickles or papads have been quietly famous among family and neighbours for years. The mango achar that disappears within days of being made. The papad recipe that gets requested at every family gathering. The lemon pickle that a neighbour once said she would pay good money for.

In 2026, "pay good money for" is no longer a throwaway compliment — it is a business model.

Regional packaged foods — pickles, papads, murukku, namkeen, chakli — are booming as consumers on quick-commerce platforms and ONDC specifically seek regional, homestyle brands over mass-market products. A regional speciality gives a natural differentiation that large brands like Mother Dairy and Priya cannot easily replicate. The aunty's garlic pickle from Pune, the avakaya from an Andhra home kitchen, the urad dal papad from a Rajasthani grandmother's recipe — these carry an authenticity that no factory can manufacture.

This guide walks through the complete picture: what it costs to start, how profit actually works, what licences you need, and exactly where to sell your products in 2026 — from your neighbourhood WhatsApp group to Amazon and everything in between.
